Our history

As a family-owned company, we have delivered premium functional ingredients and first-class service for nearly 40 years. Thanks to strong global partnerships, we supply contract manufacturers and brand owners with exclusive branded ingredients and high-quality ingredients, all supported by a certified and highly reliable supply chain.
1986

Founding of Denk Feinchemie as a subsidiary of the Merck Group

1990

Denk Feinchemie becomes an owner-managed company through a management buy-out by Stephan Huber (Sr.)

2009

Stephan Huber (Jr.) takes over the management

2011

Renaming of Denk Feinchemie to Denk Ingredients GmbH

2013

Opening of a branch in China to further expand local supplier relationships

2015

Establishment of partner management to support the growing partner business

2016

Development of quality management; ISO 9001, GDP certifications

2018

Denk Ingredients is increasingly expanding into international markets and new customer segments (Beauty, Feed, Food)

2019

Development of the marketing and product management departments to strengthen our customer orientation & satisfaction; GMP+ B3 certification for the feed segment; Introduction of the “API” business area

2020

Relaunch of the corporate website to present Denk Ingredients' portfolio and range of services in an even more illustrative way

2021

2021 marked our rebranding: With a new look and the claim 'We create access to ingredients since 1986', we underline our vision and decades of family expertise.

2024

Daniel Sprung takes over the management of Denk Ingredients

Relaunch of our corporate website, which is in line with our new strategy: We focus on marketing an exclusive portfolio of top branded raw materials that we 100% believe in.
